Cranky

Cranky, grouchy, grumpy, kvetchy, or whatever you'd like to call it. That's the way I feel with only a couple hours of sleep, trying to fix the internet connection on my mom's computer (it looks like my abba had a party with it again or somehow managed to step on it) my BlackBerry service not working properly, and I miss him.

Yeah, yeah, I've never even met him. How can I miss him? BUT I DO! So don't mess with me on this one. Plus my mom's treadmill belt is slipping so I can't even run/walk this uchy feeling out of me!!!!

And NO! Having some coffee would not help. I don't drink coffee unless it's late at night, and I'm driving back to Oz. I don't like the taste of coffee, although I really do like the smell. My cup of coffee is a nice hot shower. It wakes me up in the morning, and if for some reason I don't get to have one try to stay out of my way until I do. Well, I'm not that bad.

It takes a lot to get me to this point of crankiness, but the sun is out, the darlin' boy is happy, I got a hug from him without even asking for it, and I'm in Kansas... so really what am I complaining about? It's just about out of my system already. And now I'm off to a nice hot shower, brunch with my da (dad), some bike riding and basketball, and picking up a new wireless router for my mom.

I'm feeling better already

The Walking Wounded

I've been doing a lot of talking to myself lately ("OW! Not again CR.") mainly because I've been doing some, well, let's just say it's my way of doing things, mostly self-inflicted.

You all know about the rugburn on my forehead, but I just want to let you in on some background info. so that you can understand me better. That wasn't the first place that I got a horrible rug burn this past year. Somehow (don't ask me how), I managed to get rug burn on my left foot just below where my big toe is. I was a bit pre-occupied at the time and don't really remember how it took place. Let's just say it was worth it.

I also managed to recently burn myself on my left hip. That burn, actually two, happened because I wanted to wear a skirt and it was wrinkled. Since the iron and ironing board are in my room, there's no reason for me to be wearing anything while I'm ironing my clothes for the day... except for the possibility of brushing the iron up against me.

You might think that it's a mistake most anyone could make, but I've already done it once before. That time I was ironing a shirt and managed to burn a line across my stomach. It was a long time ago, so long ago the burn has already completely faded from my skin unlike the two on my hip.

Now, let's get to this past Friday. Things were hectic. When aren't they right before Shabbos? Anyway, I managed to burn my the top of my left hand where it meets my wrist. I was reaching for the pan of chicken and there you go CR has done it again.

Don't worry I've been staying away from ovens, irons, rugs, and just in case even knives this week. But Shabbos is coming up so wish me luck on Thursday night, and don't worry too much. I'm going to get a new aloe plant tomorrow.

fitness update: I've lost a total of 13 lbs. and have gone down a size very close to two sizes. I've been walking/running for about 35 minutes a day and I'm trying to get up to 10,000 steps a day.

Again...

Don't really have time to post today. Guess where I'm headed???? KANSAS!!!! I've got to get there kinda early because I told DB that there's a possibility of getting a hoop for Bubbi's house. We'll probably go swimming after putting it together.

Basketball has become part of our nighttime(afternoon, really) routine, and it's been a great stress reliever for both of us. There was one point last night when both of us couldn't stop laughing. He's been getting better and I've been staying about the same. Last night he got to 100 points before me and I was trying. But then again he's been living with his basketball. He's dribbling even while brushing his teeth, walking to the car, eating breakfast, etc.
There's going to be a big, huge, gigantic family reunion on Sunday. It's only one side of the family, but there are some people I haven't seen in two years even though they live in Kansas. It's hard to see everyone when you're only down for a weekend and want to spend time with your parents who are divorced.
working out up-date:
I'm almost back to my regular schedule and some of my clothes are starting to fit again. PLUS!!!! and this is a major plus exercising makes me feel so good in my own skin no matter what size or weight I am. :)
Have a good Shabbos.

Back On The Treadmill

Yup, I've gained some weight, and I can't say that I don't know how it happened. I was uptight and anxious about the forensic psychologist so I ate away the nervousness. Well, I'm not so nervous anymore and I want to fit into my clothes again.

FYI- I am not one of those skinny girls or model wannabes. I just like how I feel when I'm lighter. I also like the energy I get after I work out not to mention the muscles.... not weightlifter muscles just toned. What I would really love to do (and I'm going to) is get a toned tummy and pierce my belly button. That probably won't happen until the end or maybe even mid-summer if I'm lucky.

People won't recognize me. Short hair and a different color, and different body. I am going to be one hot momma. Maybe I'll post pics, before and after.... but I don't think you'll get to see the belly button, sorry.
