Do You Remember?
Do you remember what show this phrase is from and who used to say it?
Bee-dee, bee-dee, bee-dee...
For some strange reason Petey said "bee-dee" while we were talking today. We were both immediately reminded of a tv show we watched when we were younger, much younger.

Buck Rogers?
Aw c'mon, NA - did you look that up on Google (like I did)? :-)
My first thought was that it was Tevya the Milkman singing "if I were a rich man". But that's "Bee-dee, bee-dee, bum-bum".
Close, but no cigar, as they say...
Actually I didn't..... I even have an audio clip of Tweeky
na,
I'm impressed, and in case you didn't realize you most definitely qualify as being weird. ;)
And why do you have an audio clip of Tweeky???
shai,
It's ok that you had to look it up on google... I already know how strange you are! :P
A friend and and I used to joke around and say it and then I went to download the clip to hear it....come on...not that weird.
Another terrible Yankee night...at least A-Rod is back (and homered)
na,
Sorry, you're weird, but I only say that as a compliment.
You would think that Mussina would have wanted to show the Orioles that they shouldn't have traded him. Geez, giving up 7 runs in the first inning!!!!!
That's all folks.
Strange doesn't rank. Only weird does. It's weird or nothing, bud. :-)
They didn't have Buck Rogers in the TV backwaters where I lived - just daily fare like Kimba the White Lion, Speed Racer, Johny Socko, Johnny Quest, Magilla Gorilla, Little Rascals, 3 Stooges, Adams Family, Gentle Ben, Flipper, Lost in Space, Green Acres, Andy Griffith Show, and then around the time you wasted time on TV maybe Fat Albert, Sesame Street, and all those cartoons telling us about government (Bill, I'm only a Bill)etc. etc... What's Ben10 next to all that? Kids today don't understand real culture - like Bugs Bunny. What would we be today without Bugs Bunny? Barbarians, I tell you.
But then again, Memory Lane's going through rush hour now...
